In celebration of the 2012 Spring/Summer Tokyo Collection Week, yoox.com, the leading virtual store for multi-brand fashion and design in the world, will present a special project on the 17th of October, 2011 in collaboration with the Japan Fashion Week Organization (JFWO) serving as the “Online Retail Partner” of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Tokyo.
For the first time yoox.com will work together with JFWO, who share the same aims and passion for fashion, to promote talented Japanese designers by offering exposure in more than 100 countries thanks to its global visibility and accessibility.
JFWO is the largest fashion organization in Japan which manages “Japan Fashion Week in Tokyo” in line with the four major fashion weeks of Paris, Milan, New York and London. JFW supports Japan’s emerging talents to succeed in overseas markets by organizing different events and projects.
As a global showcase and retail platform, yoox.com will present a selection of the best and most innovative designers in Japan, aiming to portray the dynamism of the latest Japanese fashion and designers. Five designers have been selected for the project: for men’s wear, ato and soe shirts will be presented; for women’s wear, G.V.G.V., THEATRE PRODUCTS and tiny dinosaur will be shown. yoox.comwill feature these five designers and have 2012 S/S styles created exclusively for yoox.com by each designer. Selected 2011-12 A/W collection items will be available for the first time on yoox.com, as well as exclusive content including video interviews with the designers.

Combines sherbet tone colors from the 2012 S/S collection with a 50s style theme, featuring a sophisticated mint colored shirt-dress.
THEATRE PRODUCTS
A mini-dress in a shiny blue material. Voluminous lines are embedded at the waist with an adjustable tight mini-skirt with a drawstring.

A blouse with Origami folds in a cotton material, with a floral digital coated print of Japanese traditional “Washi” paper.
