Sakaguchi was born in 1973 and graduated with a degree in interior design from Hosei University. He was at Designers' Maison before launching JELLY GARCIA in 2002. Since 2004 with the invitation of CPH vision, his activities has spread globally. In 2008, the collection was shown at RENDEZ-VOUS, Paris and has started to receive orders from influential stores worldwide. The brand is renamed as The Dress & Co. HIDEAKI SAKAGUCHI from '09-'10 A/W.


Offers “clothing with style” that employs pattern-making modeled after real bodies and material textures, based on the concept of “adult clothing that interprets elegance from another angle”. In addition to having a seasonal element, the brand aims to sublimate “work” and “military” clothing into an elegant, nostalgic and romantic style. The brand was reworked in 2009-2010AW and reborn as “The Dress & Co. HIDEAKI SAKAGUCHI”, and pursues dramatic expression for the entire world. New creations are presently being unveiled in Tokyo and Paris.
