Kamishima Chinami graduated from Esmod Japon fashion college in Tokyo and worked in the fashion industry. A few years later she left Japan and traveled all over the world , visiting many exotic countries.She found a lot of interests and was inspired by many things she encountered.She launched her signature label in 1998.Her collection was first introduced at the '02 S/S Tokyo Collection. Her concepts are highly inspired by nature. She has a colour-dying work shop in the studio. Most of the colour-dying for her collections is done by hand.
